The bullshit that floats into my cereal...
So we all know internet radio is about to go bye-bye right? Yes, it's true. About 95% of internet radio stations are going to shut down within the next month due to a new law that requires them to pay royalties equal to what FM stations pay. Problem is that internet radio did about $200 million in revenue last year - that's total for the U.S. The tab they will have to pay to remain online and pumping music through our computers is $1 billion dollars! Guess there ain't as much advertising on the web.
Good bye Pandora - you will be missed.
